Printed Poinsettias
I used these tools and tempera paint to make these printed poinsettias. Cut sponges into leaf shapes and use a clip clothes pin as a handle. The small sponge can be used to make leaves or small flowers. The background color was applied with the last sponge or a brush and white paint finished the flowers.

Fused Glass

Summer
It's been a busy summer for me with watching my son play baseball and going on college visits. Making art has slowed down quite a bit but when you have your phone there is always the opportunity to find a beautiful shot. The clouds above are right in my neighborhood during an evening walk.
I found this beautiful blue jay feather on my deck
and this is the sunset on the roof of a building at Georgia Tech on a sweltering hot summer evening.
