Summer Harvest

our garden harvest

produced many cucumbers

lots of tomatoes - ripening slowly

but don't ask about the corn - let's just say a raccoon is very happy 

Rainbow Flowers

I started drawing overlapping flowers with my micron pen. 

I kept adding flowers to my composition when I had time until I had a sprinkle of them across the page. 

Then I started to paint them in color wheel order with the red in the middle...

to create a rainbow of colors.

Catch a Falling Star

I make artist trading cards with 5 other artists and this time the theme is "Catch a Falling Star".  We each create 6 cards, one to keep and the rest to trade and it's always interesting to see how each artist interprets the theme. 

The cards are small 2.5"x3.5" about the size of a deck of cards

I created mine using sparkly papers, gold ink, a star/spiral stamp, micron pen and Stickles glitter glue.
