Smalls

In an effort to make more art, I always have a pencil case filled with unlined 3"x5" index cards, water soluble colored pencils, flair pens, mechanical pencils, black fine tip sharpies, micron pens and an aqua brush in my purse.

Whenever I have a few minutes  available, I start a small drawing with the micron pen or sharpie. These drawings can be random abstract wanderings, silly cartoons from my imagination or repeated themes that I'm always returning to. I call them my smalls.

They are a great way to keep the creative juices flowing and a way to make art
even when I have NO TIME!!

Three Cat Friends

Micron pen    Flair marker
When you're on the go, use flair pens to outline your image.
Plain water will turn the water soluble ink into a flowing watercolor.
